Semillon, the traditional white grape of the Hunter Valley. The Stanleigh Park Vineyard is tucked into a corner of Black Creek on Wilderness Road, Lovedale. Planted in the mid- 1980s, it is on very deep loam soil.
This wine is bright green with yellow tints. Aromas are predominantly citrus–lime pith and zest. The palate is fine, long, juicy acidity with a gentle weight and texture. Perfect ingredients for drinking young but there will be reward for long-term aging.
